terms of use

last updated 21 aug 2026 · short on purpose

01

the service

insightdump is a personal knowledge archive: you dump content, an AI librarian summarizes and organizes it, and you can search and question your collection. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

02

your content

Everything you dump stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it (including sending it to our AI provider) solely to run the service for you. Only dump content you are allowed to save for personal use — you are responsible for what you upload.

03

fair use

The free tier currently includes 150 dumps and 100 librarian questions per month; limits and features may change (paid plans are coming). Don't abuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to circumvent limits or access other people's data, no automated scraping of the service.

04

ai output

Summaries, takeaways, themes and snapshots are AI-generated and can be wrong, incomplete or oddly phrased. They are a memory aid, not professional advice of any kind.

05

availability & liability

We run insightdump with care but provide it as-is, without warranties; it may occasionally be unavailable or lose the odd processing job. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months — on the free tier, that is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

06

ending things

You can delete your account at any time (under me) — that removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

07

the boring bit

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Questions: hello@insightdump.com. If these terms change materially we announce it in the app.
