01

what insightdump is

A personal knowledge archive: you dump screenshots, links and notes; our AI librarian summarizes them, files them under themes and lets you search and question your own collection. This policy describes what data that involves and how we handle it.

02

what we store

Account: your e-mail address (sign-in is via magic link — we never store passwords). Content: everything you dump — text, links, notes, screenshots — plus the AI-generated summaries, takeaways, themes and tags derived from it. Usage: per-analysis metadata (tokens, timing, estimated cost) tied to your account, used to enforce the monthly free limits. Telegram (optional): if you link the bot, your Telegram chat-id and username. Anonymous demo: a salted hash of your IP address (kept for the daily rate limit) and the demo item, which becomes yours if you sign up in the same browser.

03

where it lives

All data is stored in the EU: database and files at Supabase (eu-central-1, Frankfurt), hosting and logs at Vercel. Screenshots live in a private storage bucket, accessible only through short-lived signed links generated for you.

04

who processes it

Four processors, no one else: Supabase (database & storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the content you dump is sent to the Claude API for analysis; per Anthropic's API terms it is not used to train models), and Resend (sign-in e-mails). Telegram only sees what you send to the bot yourself. We never sell or share your data for advertising.

05

cookies

Essential cookies only: your sign-in session, and a temporary token that lets a demo dump follow you into your new account. No tracking, no ads, no third-party cookies.

06

retention & deletion

Everything is kept until you delete it. Deleting an item removes it and its screenshot immediately. Deleting your account (under me) immediately removes your content, files, profile, themes and Telegram links, and anonymizes the usage metadata. There is no recycle bin.

07

your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct and erase your data. Access and erasure are self-service in the app; for anything else — including questions or complaints — mail hello@insightdump.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

08

changes

If this policy changes materially we announce it in the app before it takes effect. Operated from Belgium; contact: hello@insightdump.com.
